Damian Lillard’s Entourage Allegedly Beat Up Brothers Over Cell Phone Pic

by Jared

Two brothers in Portland claim they were savagely beaten to a pulp by bodyguards of Portland star Damian Lillard for simply taking his picture. If you ask me this whole thing could have been avoided. Just taking a picture of him walking is stupid. It’s a different story if they were to take a picture with Lillard, but just to snap a pic of him walking out of a club, you deserve to be smacked. Here is what the brothers had to say.

“So I took a picture. And so Damian Lillard was upset that I took his picture, so when he turned around he’s like, “Did you just take my picture?!” said the brother.

“And his entourage just turned around too and they’re like ‘did you just take a picture of Damian Lillard?’ And I was like –and I said ‘Yeah, I did.’ And so I saw that he was clearly upset, they were upset and I was like, ‘Can I apologize to him? Like I’ll go up right now and apologize to him,’” the brother said.

Within minutes, he says the discussion became an all-out fight which did not involve Lillard but did involve others that the brothers believe were part of Lillard’s group.

When the second brother stepped in to help his brother, he says he was punched and kicked repeatedly, enough to break his nose and require stitches in his lip.

“Damian Lillard basically instigated it because he actually looked like he was going to go up to my brother and start fighting him. And since he did that, the rest of the guys started getting riled up too and like they thought it was okay to just start fighting out of nowhere,” said the second brother.

As of right now Lillard is not a suspect, which is good news for the NBA Rookie of the Year. Blazers fan will probably cringe at hearing this news because it will give them flashbacks of the JailBlazers. I wouldn’t worry too much though, Lillard isn’t a suspect and this story will pass.
