Chad Johnson Can’t Afford Child Support Payments

by Jared

Chad Johnson has had one of the fastest falls from grace in recent memory. From his disastrous stint in New England to being cut from the Dolphins, it’s been one thing after another.

With that said, Chad is now struggling to meet his payments for child support. According to TMZ he pays $5,420 a month (over $65k a year) to one of his baby mamas and in recent court document Chad says “finds himself without a contract and without a team. Simply [I am] unemployed.”

Personally I don’t feel bad for Chad. He made millions playing football and according to him makes $66,000 a month in”self-employment, partnerships, and/or independent contracts.” Just one month of those partnerships would take care of a years worth of child support. Chad is looking like another classic case of an athlete that doesn’t know what to do when they’re done playing football.
