Report: Dwight Howard & Chris Paul Considering Joining The Hawks
Expect to hear a lot of rumors in the next few months about where Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will play next season. The newest rumor comes from Mark Heisler, who believes that the two will join forces in Atlanta. As always we should take these rumors with a grain of salt.
A league source says Paul will check out other teams, as Howard is expected to do. If Paul leaves, it could pose a problem for the Lakers, who had enough already, if he and Dwight Howard decide to create a new option, joining up in Atlanta. Howard and Paul are pals. The Hawks can open up two maximum slots. They mused about Atlanta (D12’s from there, CP3 from North Carolina) years ago, before fate led them in other directions.
You will probably hear the same rumor about the Mavericks soon. I believe that Dallas is where Paul and Howard team up. Dallas has the cap space and can also offer Dirk Nowitzki. It’s no secret that Paul and Howard didn’t enjoy their time in L.A. so why not move together to Dallas and try and take down the Heat.
