As the holiday season kicks into gear, Mike “the Buzz-saw” Asti and George “the Howitzer” Gerbo get in the feasting mode. Not only are they preparing to feast on the upcoming Thanksgiving meal, they will be feasting on the sports world as well.

Major League Baseball wasted no time in firing up the hot stove. Prince Fielder and Ian Kinsler will be swapping teams. The Detroit Tigers sent their declining former “big bopper” to a more suitable home in Texas, while the Rangers shipped their WARrior to the “D.” Who was the winner of this deal?, Perhaps was this a rare even trade? Can this revitalize Prince Fielder’s career?

Jonathan Quick

Just like in baseball, there’s a lot heating up on the ice. However, it seems to only be heating up in one conference. The Western Conference currently holds the eight best teams in hockey. What is the reason for the extreme west dominance? Will the west continue to own the league throughout the season?

Jonathan Quick’s magic will be absent from the Los Angeles Kings indefinitely, after a recent injury. How much will this effect the Kings? And maybe more importantly, will Quick’s injury hurt team USA’s chances in the Olympics? There’s even some more immature/hilarious/asinine Twitter banter among NHL franchises.

Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is an overgrown child. This is fact. His antics in a game against Dallas showed exactly why. Will Dwight ever groew up? Will the Dwightmare that is now his career ever stop being asinine? We can all dream, right?

Brady Yelling

Thanks to controversy, George earned his biggest lead in years in another week of the HBS NFL Pick’em Challenge.

A feast for the hungry will always be conquered. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw conquer their sports starvation, by conquering sports radio, one day, at a time….
